Synopsis - As seen in the new Netflix dramatic thriller "Windfall," being held hostage does not have to be done at gunpoint. 

A person can be living against their will in a consensual relationship, one into which they freely entered, as Lily Collins' fine performance demonstrates as it builds inexorably toward a jarring scene of savage clarity.
While the ever-versatile Jesse Plemons billionaire tech mogul character is a selfish slimeball, the take-no-prisoners diatribe he launches at his sad sack kidnapper (a solid turn from Jason Segel) near the film's conclusion, while purposefully harsh, rings true for the most part.

However, there will undoubtedly be some among our country's citizens who will take offense.
